CHILDREN LEARNING CENTER

Join us at the Achieving Reunification Center! We offer a unique service to all Parents who are in the process of being reunified with their children. It’s our Learning Activity Center! It provides an educational and social opportunity for children and parents to learn through play and observation. Our priorities are safety, promoting a positive atmosphere and engaging parents as partners in the process of strengthening their own families. The learning center offers structured activities for children of all ages and private Filial Play Therapy sessions for children ages 3- 12. Filial play therapy is a unique approach to therapy that emphasizes the parent-child relationship as a means of alleviating family difficulties. During these sessions parents are allowed to conduct a special type of play session that helps them understand what their children may be communicating through play and most of all, it’s FUN!

The Learning Activity Center also serves as a family visitation site. When siblings are separated by agencies let the ARC bring them together, agency to agency and sibling to sibling. Our bright and spacious center provides a space for families to spend quality time with children from six months to age 17. (Scheduled visitations only) These visits are supervised by social workers from visiting agencies and overseen by an ARC supervisor.
