HOUSING AND FINANCIAL COUNSELING
Parents
have a critical need for safe, stable, affordable housing. The Achieving Reunification
Center provides educational and housing services to ensure that parents/caregivers
have access to appropriate housing. Services include:
- Housing Counseling/Workshops.

Eviction Defense Counseling Housing
Identification.

Preparation of Housing Applications.

Instruction on reading leases and
contracts.

Advocacy regarding tenants’ rights
and responsibilities.

Assistance in securing housing,
including assistance with Section 8 and subsidized housing applications.
Many families need support
to build paths toward self-sufficiency. The Achieving Reunification Center
provides one-on-one financial counseling services and financial education
workshops.

- Assistance with banking.
- Credit and budgeting
counseling.
- Debt management counseling.
- Identity theft repair.
- Free income tax preparation to
maximize tax refund.
- Other financial planning and
reunification issues related to finance.
