WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
The
Achieving Reunification Center offers on-site employment services to help parents
prepare for and connect to part-time and full-time employment. Services include:
- Support with education, training,
employment assistance and assessments for TANF customers. Services include:
- Employment Assessment.
- Job readiness preparation and instruction.
- Resume writing.
- Application and interview skills.
- Workshops and individual counseling
regarding how to be successful employees, how to balance a job with a personal life,
how to build relationships with supervisors and co-workers and other “workplace
survival skills.”
- Assistant with arranging interviews
and acquiring appropriate workplace clothing to help portray a professional image.
- Linkages to job training and employment
opportunities.
